This wine reflects the power and intensity of its hillside origins. Wild berry and currants are layered with hints of truffle, anise, dried herbs, licorice, and tapénade With its fleshy rich core and ripe tannins, this Cabernet is a beauty!

Jericho Canyon Vineyard 2007 Sauvignon Blanc

We have just planted a small block of the white Bordeaux varietal— Sauvignon Blanc. We expect our first crop in 2010. In the meantime, we have sourced fruit from a ranch on the eastern side of the valley about three miles south of our vineyard. We whole-cluster pressed the fruit and fermented in 60% stainless steel and 40% French oak barrels. Jericho Canyon vineyard’s 2007 Sauvignon Blanc has fresh tropical fruit notes with hints of guava, green apple, lime, and crushed stone. Its rich, juicy palate finishes with just the perfect touch of vibrant acidity. Delicious!
